May 2, 2016 – Amanda Baldwin American Red Cross

Amanda Baldwin, Major Gift Officer, spoke at the meeting and shared the project that is currently going on in SC.  The goal is to have smoke detectors in every home in the state over a period of several years.  Many lives can be saved if only residents were aware they were in danger.  Volunteers will be needed in the coming months to help install alarms, replace batteries in working alarms.  Be on the look out for notices in the local paper when the need arises.IMG_3187
