New Hampton Library

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hearing from Ms. Emily Hiers, a longtime library board member, about the new Hampton Library. This project has been underway for over 14 years and on Saturday, September 10, they had their grand opening.

The library has all the new technology that will help our community move into the 21st century and beyond. There are different areas for each age group. There is a room for the young children, a room for teenagers and an adult area.

The most interesting part is probably the meeting and event space that was added. It can be used by anyone to hold a meeting or small gathering. This is something that willl help draw attention to the library and all the great things that are available to the community.
